Jo Harvelle joins the Winchester brothers on a hunt in Philadelphia. They discover that an apartment building is being haunted by the spirit of H. H. Holmes.

  • Absurdly Spacious Sewer
  • Badass in Distress: Jo, who comforts her fellow captive and stays rational despite being clearly terrified, shanks her captor in the hand with a silver knife, and willingly plays bait to the same ghost within minutes of being rescued - surely that qualifies her for this trope.
  • Did Not Do the Research: Sam shows Jo a picture of one of H. H. Holmes's victims. Trouble is, the picture is the autopsy photo of Elizabeth Stride, one of Jack the Ripper's victims. Oops...?
  • Freakier Than Fiction: H. H. Holmes, whose ghost appears in "No Exit", really existed.
  • I Have You Now, My Pretty: Holmes' favorite prey is beautiful, blonde girls.
  • Jump Scare: More than usual.
  • Truth in Television - H. H. Holmes did build a "murder hotel".
