Greedy for Tweedy Released in 1957, the short Looney Tunes film focuses on Hector the Dog, Sylvester Cat, and Tweety Bird. After a car chase, all three are cared for at the animal hospital by Nurse Granny. While Tweety tries to get some respite, Hector and Sylvester are still fighting with each other despite suffering a leg injury.

Tropes

  • Agony of the Feet: Their injuries have all resulted in them having a leg cast.
  • Annoying Patient: Hector and Sylvester, even Tweety scolds at the latter.
  • Bully Bulldog: Hector keeps harassing Sylvester. To be fair, Sylvester returns the favor.
  • Cats Are Mean: Sylvester tries to go after Tweety. Sylvester at point does eats Tweety. This leads to him having surgery to save Tweety. Hector laughs about it.
  • Kick Them While They Are Down: A random rat uses a hammer on both Sylvester and Hector from getting near a Mouse Hole.
  • Kind Restraints: Granny puts Hector and Sylvester in restraints to keep them from fighting.
  • Never Mess With Granny: With Nurse Granny, Hector and Sylvester find this out.
  • No Name Given: Hector and Sylvester are addressed at dog and pussy cat, respectfully.
  • Oh, No, Not Again: After being cleared, Hector the Dog, Sylvester Cat, and Tweety Bird go at each other again, getting into another car accident. Granny just sighs and says "Que Sera, Sera."
  • Sick Episode
  • Talking Animal: Both Sylvester and Tweety talk to each while Hector doesn't.
  • The Silent Bob: Hector doesn't speak apart from growls and barks. Yet, he doesn't stop going at it with Sylvester.
