- Jumping the Shark: The Guzman arc was dubbed "Dumbguy" by fans, especially given the unconvincing off-screen disappearance of Vinnie Terranova. Ratings declined from this point, leading to the eventual cancellation of the series.
- Moment of Awesome: Frank McPike has several of these, such as his Deadpan Snarker comments while being tortured by Mafia thugs, and his facing down an eccentric billionaire with a rocket launcher, armed with only a snubnosed .38 pistol.
