Warriors of Virtue/YMMV

Everything About Fiction You Never Wanted to Know.

  • Non Sequitur Scene: The singing chimpanzee lady gets about three seconds to show her stuff before an abrupt cut back to Komodo's lair.
    • The singing chimpanzee thing is actually in Komodo's bedroom so it isn't much of BLAM. Still kind of a non sequitur.
  • Crowning Moment of Funny: Pretty much every thing Komodo does!
  • Ensemble Darkhorse: Let's face it, Komodo's pretty much the best thing in the whole film.
  • Evil Is Sexy: Elysia gets a lot more attractive after her Face Heel Turn
    • Believe it or not, there are fans that think Komodo is sexy, mostly because he is so over the top - nutso.
  • Fashion Victim Villain "Does purple suit me?" No. It does not.
  • Fridge Logic: Why, exactly, did Elysia turn on the Warriors? Getting angry at Yun for killing her brother is one thing, but Komodo is going to kill everything. Does that REALLY justify her turning her back on her people?
    • At least in the novelization, Komodo had Elysia addicted to a substance called Zubrium. She wasn't in her right mind she betrayed him and started acting crazy.
    • In all the (apparent) years they've been fighting Komodo's forces, it never occurs to the Warriors to combine the power of their medallions? If just to see what happens?
    • Ryan's jeans are pretty baggy. Why does he wear them under his leg brace - they'd easily fit over...
  • Ham and Cheese\Chewing the Scenery: Angus Macfadyen as Komodo. Take pretty much any scene he's in and enjoy watching him go nuts.
  • Hilarious in Hindsight: Despite the very blatant Take That against Power Rangers, the Brazilian dub for television casted Jorge Lucas to voice Yun, a voice actor known for dubbing, just guess, Tommy Oliver of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, that just like Yun don't starts the story quite as part of the group but becomes the leader.
  • Memetic Mutation: "IT WAS A LIFE!" Shouted out by whoever is standing nearby whenever Ryan is incredulous that everyone is in such deep shock that a war resulted in someone's demise.
    • "WARRIORS! Come out and PLAY-AYYY!"
