You changed "homosexual" to "gay". Maybe this is a case of Small Reference Pools, but where I live, "gay" specifically refers to homosexual males. The trope is about homosexual females. Thus, "gay" isn't the right word for that trope. --Robkelk (talk) 03:09, 4 March 2021 (UTC)

I just rolled back your edits to Pronoun Trouble

Most of your edits to Pronoun Trouble were stylistic choices and did not cause any problems, but also would not cause any issues if they were removed. These edits were problems and needed to be rolled back:

 • You removed the "context" tag from an example without providing context.
 • You replaced a date with the word "recent", thus requiring either rollback or the addition of the "when" tag to have somebody come in and add the date back in.
 • You replaced "Category:Japanese Language" (which exists) with "Category:Useful Notes/Japanese Language" (which does not exist).

In the future, please do not remove requests for context without providing the requested context, and please do not remove actual data such as real-world dates.

Replied on your talk page. --Umbire the Phantom (talk) 14:39, 29 July 2019 (UTC)

A barnstar for you!

The Special Barnstar
You've been making excellent edits and spotting problems on the wiki ever since you created your account. Thank you! Robkelk (talk) 20:42, 13 October 2019 (UTC)

Automatic Moderation

Hello Umbire the Phantom!

As a result of the Great Miraheze Spam Flood that affected multiple wikis in December 2020, we have instituted moderation of posts. Most people's edits and image uploads will not appear immediately, the way that they would on Wikipedia... but, now, yours will - no more waiting for a moderator to approve your edits.

This is a privilege given for consistently good edits and being a Troper in good standing, not a right. Congratulations!

Hey!

I have started the Hollywood Malware trope. Please come and help out. RocketMaster (talk) 14:15, 24 December 2020 (UTC)

For future reference...

Per All The Tropes:Creating Disambiguation Pages:

[U]nlike Wikipedia we do not append "(disambiguation)" or anything similar to the name of the disambiguation page -- one of its purposes is to catch any unspecific links that exist in the wiki. Making it distinct from the "common name" would defeat that purpose.

So as to make the best use of the disambiguation page you've created, I renamed "Cyclops" to "Cyclopean Creature" and your new page to just "Cyclops".

Why I just reverted your edit to "Token Lesbian"

You changed "homosexual" to "gay". Maybe this is a case of Small Reference Pools, but where I live, "gay" specifically refers to homosexual males. The trope is about homosexual females. Thus, "gay" isn't the right word for that trope. --Robkelk (talk) 03:09, 4 March 2021 (UTC)
