...but required numerous edits to meet our minimum requirements for a work page. Please review the changes I made and endeavor to make future work pages as close to ideal as possible from the start.

...for several reasons. Its description is a bare two sentences long and says nothing about the content of the work, nor does it explain why it would be of interest to tropers. (An episode list is not "description"; it tells us nothing about the work except that it had episodes and when they aired.) The description is also poorly written and lacks proper punctuation in places. Further, the page has no tropes listed -- we require a minimum of 5 to 10 tropes for a new work page. (If you can't even put down one trope, why would we even care about the show?) Finally (and least importantly), it's got some pretty janky markup, including the entire "description" of the show being rendered in a monospaced typewriter font.

We suggest that you read our Works Page Guidelines and Style Guide, and then try again. You may also want to look at the source of one or more existing work pages to see what they look like "inside", and structure your new page similarly.

We also strongly recommend that you also read All The Tropes:How We Do Bans Around Here. This isn't a threat -- this is the wiki policy strictly controlling how and when user bans can be applied by an Admin. We want you to be aware that unlike TVT, we do not ban users on whims or because we're cranky.

Your new version of the page has been approved. It needed a few tweaks, but that's okay. Thank you for looking into how to do things the way we like to see them! The only problem I'd like to point out is please make sure that the tropes you want to list actually exist here. We split from TVT almost twelve years ago now, and we've gone in a slightly different direction from them -- and we have an explicit policy of not copying content from them. So take the effort to make sure anything beyond the "classic" tropes is here.

I've commented out those tropes on the page that that don't exist here. If you feel any or all of them need to be documented here, please feel free to propose them in the Trope Workshop (our counterpart to YKKTW). If you do, please check out our Trope Workshop Guidelines first.

A word to the wise: Making a long list of minor changes will not get you unmoderated status any faster than making a single edit with all of the changes you want to make at the same time will. We aren't counting edits; we're looking at quality.

Another word to the wise: do not pothole tropes to alternate spellings of their names. Yes, it's a British show. No, the trope name is not spelled in the British fashion. Live with it. This is a formal warning: You are Edit Warring with a wiki mod. I have removed the pothole from Parental Favoritism twice now -- if I have to do it one more time you will receive a tempban. Please acknowledge this warning in this thread.
