Tape Battle is a game for Nintendo Family Computer, somewhat based on a Pokemon battle game, although it has a lot of differences (one is the element types: there are exactly eight, split into a group of 2 and a group of 6, all of which are perfectly balanced against each other; the two are North and South, while the six are: Alien, Magic, Air, Insect, Slime, Abnormal, North, South). It is strictly 2-players game. It is called Tape Battle because the data for the teams is stored on audio cassette tapes (instead of storing it in the cartridge).
