The Plague stories come in several different types. In the first, the protagonists are usually trying to find a cure or preventing it from spreading further. The second is where The Plague is the cause of an After the End plot. Either the disease happened before the beginning of the story or the story begins with The End of the World as We Know It. In both cases the heroes are usually just naturally immune and are unable to stop The Plague killing everyone who isn't. |
