Mary Sue: Renee from "The Priest's Graveyard". She's a constant Damsel in Distress with a sucky taste in men (The husband she's trying to avenge comes off more of a control freak with severe OCD than a healthy stable relationship), but the the male protagonist of the book falls for her and when we're not hearing about how tiny she is, we have to hear about how she's as ruthless as the male protagonist. I don't think so.
Debatable. It's made very clear that it was an unhealthy relationship, (and by "unhealthy," I mean, "Involves massive physical and mental abuse"). Also, she's clearly portrayed as impulsive and hot-headed, and nearly gets herself killed twice. And gets called out for it the first time.
But then we still have to sit through how great she is. Even the priest at the end shoves it down our throat.
