Not sure about this revert: "Manual interruptions and extra editions of newspapers don't have anything to do with this trope. Also, the "Emergency Broadcast systems by country" line needs to *not* be a header so that it doesn't get auto-added to the list of examples by medium."

"In the highest-profile Breaking News incidents, such as 9/11 or the JFK assassination, it makes no sense to interrupt by automated means as stations have already manually interrupted an entertainment program or a routine, lower-priority news report to cut away to their own live news coverage of a major incident." isn't a claim that this trope is about manual interruption of broadcasts by breaking news; it's a hatnote or disambiguation saying this article is about the automated systems, and the interruption by actual live newscasts is a different trope described on some other page.
