Talk:Dawson Casting

Because I think the one we have actually doesn't illustrate the concept, I propose that we should change it.

I propose this pic: https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=361102139589162&set=a.175152211517490 The context is that a capture from Venezuelan morning talk show La Bomba, where in celebration for Back to Classes season they dressed in Venezuelan high school uniforms. Thing is, all people in the pic is very visibly looking late twenties-early thirties average, youthful looking but not that youthful. The comments in spanish even make references to hispanic examples of the trope.

The replacement image is much, much better than the one we have now. They're older than most people who wear those types of outfits (showing the "Dawson" part of the trope) and they're obviously on a sound stage (showing the "Casting" part of the trope).

I obviously vote in favor of replacement as the person who proposed it. The minute it is approved I will upload and change it myself.

No need to delete the old image; we're getting it from Wikimedia Commons, so it's their disk space that's being used, not ours.
