  • Anvilicious - The series was the very epitome of this trope, with a threat of some kind (drugs, alcohol, guns, etc.) repeatedly declaimed by Hooker as the greatest evil that humanity has ever faced.
  • Complete Monster - In the pilot, the main villains of the story stick up an elderly couple, and when they revealed that they had only had some pocket change, they are killed one by one in cold blood with only a casual comment afterward on how they were so cheap.
