  • Broken Base: The band members reunited in 2008 with a Heavy Metal vocalist and adopted a more Metal-oriented sound than they had been normally known for, but kept the "Snot" band name. There were a lot complaints from long-time fans.
  • Ear Worm: "MY BALLS! YOUR CHIN! MY BALLS! I WANNA PUT 'EM ON YOOOOUR CHIIIIIIN"
  • Face of the Band: Lynn Strait was the most prominent and best known member of the band.
  • Misattributed Song: Bootlegs and YouTube uploads label "Starlit Eyes" as a System of a Down song, even though it merely features Serj Tankian and not the rest of that band.
