Scott Steiner/YMMV

Everything About Fiction You Never Wanted to Know.

  • Crowning Moment of Awesome/Funny: when asked by WWE management to take a steroid test in 2002, he told them he would do it if Triple H took it with him. They never called him back on it.
  • Foe Yay / Ho Yay: The Steiner Recliner looks unfortunate as it is, but the time he said he was going to put Goldberg in it and whisper in his ear "Size does matter, BITCH!" really pushes it into prison rape level creepy.
    • A similar level of creepiness was reached in a handicap match in WCW, which ended with Scott putting four cruiserweights in the Steiner Recliner at once.
  • Fountain of Memes: Thanks to his promos, tenuous grasp of physics, mathematics, or even basic sentence strucure, and general unhingedness.
    • Not to mention that he's hungry.
  • Hilarious in Hindsight: Steiner, Booker T, and Buff Bagwell, while under contract to WCW, guest starred on Charmed as wrestling demons. Steiner and Booker's characters were pinned down to hell by Prue and Phoebe at the end of the episode. Since WCW died, Bagwell only sparingly made TV appearances, whereas Steiner and Booker both had decent-length WWE runs, headed to TNA, and became members of a Power Stable of legends called the Main Event Mafia - during which they became tag team champions together.
  • Memetic Mutation: And how! If Batista is the poster child for wrestling memes, then Steiner is a close second.
    • In all honestly, it's only because Batista operates on a larger stage that Scott gets upstaged.
    • On the Wrestlecrap forums, whenever the subject of a wrestler's weight is brought up (Matt Hardy for instance), it's inevitable for a user to post a video of Steiner screaming "HE'S FAT!"
  • Narm: That voice, oh lordy that voice...
    • After he started using steroids, his whole person became a giant narm machine between long, rambling promos and random verbal outbursts. It's pretty much the entire reason he remains entertaining.
      • So much so that towards the end of his TNA tenure, he seemed to focus on just acting insane. It was arguably his best run post-steroids.
  • Rooting for the Empire: Steiner has become such an entertainingly large ham that crowds will cheer for him even when he's completely heel. At the 2011 Turning Point event while tagging with Bully Ray, Steiner spent most of his time on the apron telling the pro-Steiner crowd to shut up, which only egged the crowd on more.

Crowd: STEINER! STEINER! STEINER!
Steiner: *flips off crowd* FUCK! YOU! FUCK! YOU! FUCK! YOU!
