Robert Carlyle

Dr Robert Carlyle, OBE, actually, although he doesn't use the Doctor title.

Born in Glasgow, he frequently plays Violent Glaswegian characters as well as general evil people. He was Renard in The World Is Not Enough and has played Adolf Hitler. His best known role is in either Trainspotting or The Full Monty. He was also in 28 Weeks Later.

He starred as a good guy in the TV Series Hamish Macbeth, playing the title role .

Don't mention that he appeared in Eragon.

Also starred in Stargate Universe as the morally ambiguous Insufferable Genius Dr. Rush.

Is now currently starring as Rumpelstiltskin in Once Upon A Time.
