  • Acceptable Targets: Anteaters?
  • Designated Hero: Fingal. Consider: Novicorp is trying to find his body. They're trying to help him. He has no clear reason to try and take them down, and iirc, they don't start sending cyber-thugs after him until his unprovoked attack. They even keep trying to find his body after he turns against them. Oh yes, and he also wreaks havoc with the global weather system, no doubt killing hundreds. This could actually qualify HIM as the villain!
    • Don't forget his goofing off at work which got this whole shinbreaker started.
    • And in the end he wipes his love interest's identity and creates a new one that suits his own life fantasy...without her permission.
      • Though it's not like she could just go back to her job.
  • Designated Villain: Novicorp and the Fat Chairman. They get on Fingal's case because he spends his time watching movies instead of working, but they don't fire him, they effectively make him take a vacation. But we know the Mega Corp is evil because it's very successful, and the Chairman is evil because he looks like the ancestor of the Baron Harkonnen
    • Pretty much the only evil thing they do is make Fingal pay for the rehab with his own money... and as noted, it's still lighter than just firing his negligent ass.
      • It's pretty clear that the Chairman has something big planned for when they've buried Lexicorp once and for all. ("WE. WILL. WIN!") Not that the movie can be bothered to explain what the something is.
    • Well, they're not looking for his body because they're all that worried for his well-being, they're doing it because once word got out that someone lost their body while doppling their stock prices started to plummet. Once the chairman decides that Fingal is more trouble than he's worth his first reaction was to (effectively) just kill him instead.
    • Then again, it seems that watching movies at any time is actually illegal (Only the chairman has access to them, and Apollonia has never seen one in her life), so maybe this corporate ruled future is more dystopian than it seems at first.
    • If that's the worst thing about it, then it isn't nearly dystopian enough.
  • Ham and Cheese: It might have been the first time Raul turned in an enjoyably hammy performance in a movie far beneath his talents, and it certainly wouldn't be the last.
  • Narm: Too many things to choose from, though the one thing that sticks out is this movie's hatred of anteaters.
    • "I'm interfaaaaaaaaaaaaced!!!"
    • Pfft, that's nothing. When Apollonia takes the form of Fingal's dead mom to talk to him...
