The Nostalgia Critic is [[Exactly What It Says on the Tin|a cynical critic who reviews movies and TV shows from]] [[The Eighties]], [[The Nineties|Nineties]] and occasionally [[Turn of the Millennium|2000]] <ref>considering that as of 2011 it is within his cutoff date</ref> (though in a few cases he has reviewed more recent things, such as his reviews of ''[[The Room]]'' (2003), ''[[Alone in the Dark (2005 film)|Alone in The Dark]]'' (2005) or ''[[Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea]]'' (2008)). He has a bit of a temper problem but is otherwise very sarcastic.
