Article description: (description ) This attribute controls the content of the description and og:description elements. | In Video Games, it's quite rare for your character to be limited to one weapon or costume. One of the benefits of using real-time-rendering and textures is that you can swap them out for other things to change the look and feel of a character's costume (although sometimes not so much) or give them different equipment. Often times, however (especially in the early days of CD-based gaming), cutscenes are not rendered in real time. This can create some continuity issues, since there can be only one possible configuration of gear used in the Cutscene unless they have included multiple cutscenes just based on which weapon you had equipped at the time (which would be extremely tedious and largely unnecessary). |
