These things about Mrs. Pollifax (franchise) are subjective - not everyone will agree with all of them.

• What an Idiot!:
  • In The Amazing Mrs. Pollifax, Emily and her allies knock out the primary antagonist and his henchmen, who had intercepted them using a helicopter as she ran for an airport to get a defector out of Turkey. You'd Expect: Someone would suggest sabotaging the helicopter they arrived in, and that they would at least tie up the bad guys so they don't immediately resume the chase upon recovering. Instead: They put the bad guys in the helicopter, unbound. This might be justified on the meta level by needing to have the helicopter handy so Mrs. Pollifax could use it to take the defector to the airport at the climax of the story -- but the only reason she needed to do that was that the bad guys had caught up to them again and used their connections with the local police to stop them. If Mrs. Pollifax and/or her allies had cut a single fuel line or tied up the villains (or both), she wouldn't've needed to steal their transport to get away from them again.
