This attribute controls the content of the description and og:description elements. | LEGO Friends is a line of LEGO playsets aimed at young girls, introduced in January 2012. It attracted controversy over its use of pastel colors and idealized female figures, nicknamed "LadyFigs" before LEGO officially named them "mini-dolls". However, it also won praise for distinguishing itself from previous girl-oriented lines by using the same complex build techniques as its contemporary themes (where its predecessors Belville and Paradisa used large panel parts to simplify builds), and it has overall proven itself a success. The mini-doll figures that Friends pioneered were later used in the LEGO Elves theme and Disney Princess licensed theme. |
