  • Demonic Spiders: The pterodactyl is played up to be invincible, but it's "merely" one of these.
  • Goddamned Bats
  • Good Bad Bugs: An early version of Joust had a bug where the player could stand in the middle ledge and just let the pterodactyl kill itself on the lance. This was fixed.
    • There's also the "belly flop" bug, in which a player can squeeze through the tiny space between the rocks at center right. The developers left it in when they discovered it added a new dimension to multiplayer games.
