Jaden Christopher Syre Smith (born July 8, 1998) is an American actor and rapper. He is the son of Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith. He is also known for odd, but poetic tweets that went viral starting in 2013,[1] and for modelling in a skirt for Louis Vuitton.[2]

Controversies had been aroused due to the fact that he is perceived as being riding on his parents fame while being actually talentless, which is no helped by him crafting a public persona of bizarre eccentricity in looks and speech that overshadows (and even tints) his professional work.

Jaden Smith provides examples of the following tropes:
  • Adam Westing: many people noticed that Kaz, his role in Neo Yokio, seems to be based in Jaden's Twitter persona.
  • Boastful Rap: "Icon"
  • Cloudcuckoolander: Jaden's persona in Twitter can be boiled down to this.
  • Epic Rocking: ‎ "Ninety" (7:48) and "Lost Boy" (9:29), from his first album Syre .
  • Ice Cream Koan: Jaden's tweets often come off as this, if not as Narm Charm.
  • Stage Mom: It's rumored that he got into the industry due to the push of his famous parents. That he has starred in two films with his very famous dad, one of those films seemingly tailored to be a career entry ticked, doesn't help to dispel this notion.
