A second baseman for the Brooklyn Dodgers. While an amazing athlete in many respects, he's most remembered for being the first black player to break the color barrier in the majors.

For the purposes of the wiki, he just barely qualifies as a creator: In 1950, he starred As Himself in the film The Jackie Robinson Story; after retiring from professional baseball, he served a one-year sting in 1965 as an analyst for ABC's Major League Baseball Game of the Week telecasts, the first black person to do so.
