  • Fridge Logic: If Masaki is so determined to see Kaoru at the junior national championships, why doesn't she just buy a ticket? Ironically, when Kaoru doesn't make the championship he does buy a ticket just to see Misaki.

  • Unfortunate Implications: Masaki's motivation is supposed to be "If you love someone you'll be willing to change", but it comes out as "The only reason to change would be for a boy." Probably irrelevant as Misaki is doing this as much for herself as she is to attract the boy.
