The main character in Happy Appy, who owns the blog. In the beginning, almost nothing is known about him. However, as the story progresses, more is known about who Gerasim is (like his name, his hometown (Chicago, Illinois), etc.)
- Russian Guy Suffers Most: Even though his nationality is never revealed, he might be part Russian (for his name). He also has to be the one to see ALL the episodes, to play the full version of Happy Appy and the Golden Apple, and to fight and kill Forenzik.
- Took a Level In Badass: Originally, he was there just to watch the episodes. Now, he fought and killed Forenzik more than a few times.
Forenzik/Freddrick Gorgote

A lanky, tall masked man who stalks Gerasim after watching the first 10 episodes. Turns from a guy who stood over Kevin Costo's body into a crazy homicidal maniac who took his victim's bodies and hung them up as trophies. Eventually revealed to be the director of Happy Appy.
- Mad Artist
- Nigh Invulnerable: He's very, very strong. He's had the studio collapse on him, got ran over by the blogger, had his prosthetic arm chopped off, had his shoulder cut with a knife, shot in the chest with a Winchester twice, and was rammed by a car with buzzsaw blades. He also got shot in the leg and chest with another Winchester, had his leg sawed off, got hit with a dislodged pipe, and finally died.
- Red Eyes, Take Warning: His gas mask has red eyes.

Danny/Ray Bollia
A kid who kills Happy Appy in the Happy Appy Movie. Appears in more episodes than Miranda, his older sister.
Miranda
Danny's older sister, who first appears in Mean Miranda. Died in 2006, but had her body mutilated and trophied by Forenzik.
Jenny
A kid who is seen being kissed by Danny. Appears in a few more episodes, before getting killed by Happy Appy in the show. Presumed to be dead.
- Ascended Extra: In her debut episode, the only things she did was being kissed by Danny, and screaming when Happy was about to kill Danny.
- Little Miss Badass
Quincy
The Oranges
Two (John and James) orange fruit puppets who get killed by Happy.
Derry Berry
Another fruit puppet who attacks Happy.
- What Happened to the Mouse?: Derry Berry is only seen in one episode, and never reappears.
Employees
Kevin Seward Costo
The first employee who worked on Happy Appy to be mentioned. He was killed by Forenzik early in the pasta.
Jim Forester
One of the employees of Happy Appy, who helps Gerasim with the research. He is the second-to-last employee to die, next to Freddrick Gorgote/Forenzik.
Blair Meyes/Tristan Yae
The original voice actor of Happy Appy.
Other Characters
John Tresti
Never seen, John Tresti made all of Happy Appy's music.
John Wilkinson
Also never seen, John Wilkinson was a summer camp owner, who's schizophrenia led to him killing 6 children (in his summer camp) in 2004. He also helped write some of the episodes of Happy Appy. Originally thought to be Forenzik.
Mrs. Costo
Kevin Costo's wife.
Officer Newport
A police officer who gives Gerasim Kevin's journal on Happy Appy.
Tristan Drews
Another man who isn't seen who had made Happy's puppet's design.
