'''''Fire in His Fingertips''''' (original Japanese title: ''Yubisaki kara Honki no Netsujō: Charao Shōbōshi wa Massugu na Me de Watashi wo Daita'') is a hentai manga series.  The story revolves around a young office worker named Ryo Fujihashi who is friends with a firefighter, Souma Mizuno.  Assuming he's a womanizer, she has difficulty setting him up on dates.  However when a fire breaks out in her apartment, Souma offers her a place to stay and soon learns he's been in love with her for a long time.  

An anime adaption was made in 2019 called ''[[Yubisaki kara Honki no Netsujō: Osana Najimi wa Shōbōshi]]'' or ''Fire In His Fingertips: My Childhood Friend is a FireFighter.'' in 2020, a second season aired called ''Fire in His Fingertips 2: My Boyfriend is a Firefighter or ''Yubisaki kara Honki no Netsujo 2 -Koibito wa Shoboshi''.

* [[A Man Is Always Eager]]: It does not take much for Ryo to turn Souma on.  Souma claims it was because he waited ten years to be with Ryo.  By chapter 139, Ryo knows that once his switch is flipped on, there's no stopping him.

She always acts nervous when Souma is turned on and has called him a pervert and a womanizer, but there are strong hints throughout the series that suggest that she does enjoy having sex with him, such as when she insisted he pleasure her at a restaurant or when she tells him to blindfold her even though he was only joking. * [[Berserk Button]]: Adultery pisses Souma off to no end. He was quite intimidating towards his sister's boyfriend when he found out he cheated on her, and even Ryo had to face a very angry Souma when she pretended to be Rei's girlfriend.
* [[Beware the Nice Ones]]: Souma's not a violent person and is a friendly guy, but remember he's a firefighter and is quite strong.  This is shown when he grabbed an arsonist strangling Ryo and intimidated his sister's [[Jerk Ass]] boyfriend.

Souma can even get even bigger when Ryo does something Souma thinks is cute or when Souma feels she is being more assertive.

For instance a pregnant woman stayed at Ryo's apartment after a fight with her husband because she thought he was going to buy a luxury car.  Turns out he was planning on selling his car for a family one. Rei's arc wouldn't have been as long if Ryo told Souma about him working at the cosmetics company and Rei could have told the girl that had a crush on him he wasn't interested in her instead of asking Ryo to pretend to be his girlfriend.  
* [[Ethical Slut]]: Souma is a male example.  He's perverted and wants sex all the time, but he's also loyal to Ryo when she becomes his girlfriend and is enraged by adultery.  He's also a fireman and saves people from burning buildings all the time.
* [[Everyone Has Standards]]: Souma may be a flirt, but adultery enrages him as shown when he found out his sister's boyfriend was cheating on her.  He also felt uncomfortable when Ryo insisted he pleasure her in a crowded restaurant, though he did it anyway.  
* [[Ferris Wheel Date Moment]]: Souma and Ryo have sex in a ferris wheel at one point.
* [[Firemen Are Hot]]: Souma, Jun, and and Yuki, but mostly Souma since he gets the most focus as the main character.
* [[Flat Character]]: Unless your names are Ryo Fujihashi or Souma Mizuno, chances are you're this in the story.
* [[Freudian Excuse]]: It's strongly implied that Souma's womanizing was a result of not being in a relationship with Ryo. 
* [[Friend to All Children]]: Souma and Ryo.  During a vacation, a lost child shows up.  While his parents are being sought out, Ryo and Souma entertain the child with a game of ping pong.  When the parents show up and explain they lost their child while their car was in a ditch, Souma gets the car out all by himself.  The child is inspired to become a firefighter because of this.
* [[Graceful Loser]]: Rei backs off on trying to win Ryo's heart when Souma "rescues" him and Ryo from carnival monsters and Ryo says she wants to be with Souma.  Rei even goes so far as to end a rumor at work that he and Ryo were dating.
* [[Good People Have Good Sex]]: Souma may be a bit aggressive when it comes to sex, but he loves Ryo dearly and gives her tons of orgasms during sex.

Justified as in real life a lot of equipment firefighters wear or use weigh over a hundred pounds and they also have to carry people out of burning buildings.

However when Ryo pretended to be Rei's girlfriend to get another girl off his back, Souma raped her again, only even more aggressively and angrily.  Ryo could tell she really upset Souma and felt scared.  Thankfully it was resolved and even Souma showed remorse for it.
