Adored by the Network: And how! When this show started airing, it quickly became Nickelodeon's top dog in terms of live-action shows - therefore one of the network's most popular shows. The series' popularity resulted in it being run a lot by Nickelodeon even after the show had ended and lead way to similar shows on Nick.
- And now five years after it's ended, Teen Nick seems just as infatuated with this show as their parent channel once was. Try turning on Teen Nick any given hour of the day, chances are this show or Zoey 101 will be on.

- Gabriella is Rebecca, one of Drake's schoolmates.
- Vanessa plays as one of Drake's fangirls.
- Aria Montgomery and Melissa Hastings both played as Drake's girlfriends in two separate episodes.
- Quinn Fabray can "place her fist in her mouth" and is magically enclosed in the popcorn chute.
- It was Princess Azula who gets a birthday party present from Drake instead, to Josh's dismay.
- Chelsea Brimmer is the girl who worked in a record store.
- Sarah Baker and Bethany Hamilton are Megan's fellow campfire kids.
- May Belle Aarons is the Wide-Eyed Idealist kid in the Christmas Special.
- Freddie Benson played as Dogged Nice Guy to Megan, a role that was removed but was passed on to iCarly. Even a wartless Lewbert played the irate dance producer in Dance Contest.
- Drake's friend Trevor, played by Taran Killam, was Moody's Dogged Nice Guy love interest in The Amanda Show and later became a member of Saturday Night Live.
- Ashley "Ahsoka Tano" Eckstein was hitting on both Drake and Josh in one of the first episodes.
- Max was overly obsessed with Drake in the episode "Number 1 Fan."
