Nightmare Fuel: The dentist scene with Beldar's teeth is a little creepy.
Not So Crazy Anymore: Seedling's suggestion to build an electrical fence along the Mexican border to prevent illegal immigrants from entering the country was utterly ludicrous at the time the movie was made (as shown by his superiors' reactions). Enter the '00s, when that exact same plan (minus the explodey collars) was seriously proposed several times.^[1]
