Coffin Comics
Coffin Comics is a webcomic by Shawn Tommelleo, creator of What's Shakin'. This comic series started off as a Warcraft parody, but evolved into a broad-spectrum gaming and geeking comic updated Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
- Mondays feature a Tooned News feature with comicized news stories in the gaming and sciences genre.
- Wednesdays often have game or movie reviews in comic form, though sometimes this can have random comics as well.
- Fridays may sometimes have a Warcraft parody in place of the usual science or nerdy comic.
Tropes used in Coffin Comics include:
- Does Not Like Shoes: Coffinshaker, Pai, Gurr, and some other don't ever wear shoes.
- Red Shirt: The fifth member of this dungeon party seems to have doubts about his chances of success.
- Silence Is Golden: Many of the earlier comics have no dialog or narration.
- The Speechless: Coffinshaker never speaks!
