Channel Ate
Channel Ate is a gag-per-day strip by Ryan Hudson (and sometimes his wife, Vee) that updates a few times a week on average. Early on most of the humor came from humorous "notes to self" which often had some sort of twist or double meaning to them. Over time this format slowly disappeared to make room for more varied humor, although "note to self" comics still appear from time to time. Please also take note that this comic makes heavy use of dark humor and is not recommended for the easily offended. It can be found here.

Tropes used in Channel Ate include:
- All Men Are Perverts: Think happy thoughts.
- Anal Probing: The fate of all grammar Nazis that get abducted by aliens.
- Anti Role Model: More or less every adult character, especially if they happen to be a parent.
- Art Evolution: The first few strips looked like a C&H ripoff. The more recent strips look like a really good C&H ripoff.
- Berserk Button: Never tell a woman she's just like her mother.
- Black Comedy Rape: Used a few times.
- Blessed with Suck: Captain AIDS
- Buried Alive: "Alakazam! I turned you into a murderer!"
- Burn the Witch: Over rotisserie chicken.
- Cats Are Mean: If getting a little puppy shot because its owner thinks it has rabies is mean, that is...

- Comically Missing the Point: Not that kind of stool.
- Crapsack World: 90% of the population are assholes, the super heroes are either useless or assholes, the genies are lazy assholes, and assholes often commit suicide. See a pattern?
- Dada Comic: There's some of this here. No two comics seem to be related to each other.
- Dark Is Not Evil: The Toothfairy.
- A Date with Rosie Palms: "Seriously though, that kid masturbates way too much..."

- Double Standard Rape (Male on Male): Oh so funny.

- Everything's Worse with Bears: Rarely is a bear appearing in a strip a good thing.
- Exact Words: He didn't specify what cupid should shoot her with.

- Fire and Brimstone Hell: Appears fairly often.
- Fluffy Cloud Heaven: Also appears fairly often.
- Go Out with a Smile: In possibly the most disturbing way ever.
- Groin Attack: "I guess I could have poked the holes in the condom before he put it on."
- Hating on Monday: Mondays are worth suicide and worse than a beating.
- A Hell of a Time: Once in an early strip. Afterwards it becomes more of a Fire and Brimstone Hell.

- Incredibly Lame Pun: Make puns responsibly.
- Innocent Innuendo: "Sometimes I just gotta play with my self." "One, two, three, four, I declare a thumb war."

- Reality Ensues: Death is a much more likely consequence of being doused in chemicals than super powers.

- Stalker with a Crush: Quite a lot of the characters are implied or outright stated to be this.
- The Stoner: Tim, who involves drugs (mostly weed) in about half of the strips he appears in.

- Take a Third Option: If there's no room for two captains on a boat, make the boat bigger.
- Take That: Against Lynyrd Skynyrd in this strip.
- Time Travel: Used for comedy.
- Too Dumb to Live: A good example would be "Skydive Training."
- The Unfavorite: When your family throws a surprise birthday party for your twin...but not you.
- Vomit Indiscretion Shot: "Guys, I've got a bad feeling about this." *throws up* "Never mind, that was it."
- What the Hell, Hero?: Most of the reason super asshole is funny and not a Complete Monster.
- Yellow Snow: Would you drink the lemonade after that?
