  • Complete Monster: Count Chocula wishes to feast on everyone in Cerealia simply so he can satisfy his sweet tooth. He's also responsible for King Ayummayumma's tribe being wiped out, because he promised them land if they killed Cap'n Crunch. On that subject, he had Jean Le Foote murder him.
  • Holy Shit Quotient: The Big Damn Heroes scene sends it off the charts.
  • Magnificent Bastard: It's hard not to like Lucky. The evil bastard.
  • Moral Event Horizon: Frankenberry torturing the Rice Krispy Kids. In the case of his murder of Buzz the Honey Bee, he was aggravated with him, but here he's just doing it for fun.
  • Nightmare Fuel: Quite a few; moreso for people who grew up with the mascots that have fallen out of use.
    • The Soggies can simply surround their victims and drown them where they stand.
    • Sonny's Renfieldian rantings from the padded cell.
    • The sound effects during the torture scene in Book One moves what could be simply a moderately disturbing scene squarely into this category.
  • Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny: Among breakfast cereal mascots, no less!
