Everything About Fiction You Never Wanted to Know.

Andrzej Bartkowiak is a Polish cinematographer and film director.

He initially was just a cinematographer, serving as such for films including The Verdict, Terms of Endearment, Speed, Species, Dante's Peak and Lethal Weapon 4, and is a member of the American Society of Cinematographers. In the 2000s, however, he started trying his hand at directing. His films have all been mediocre (at best) action films; of which consensus seems to hold to have gotten progressively worse over time. Whereas Romeo Must Die, Exit Wounds and Cradle 2 the Grave are watchable action films, his latest[when?] efforts, Doom and Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li are both video game adaptions that effectively jettison everything that made the games good and are thus rendered as forgettable dreck.

His next film is titled Dark Deal, and is slated to be released in 2011.
