Zevo-3

A Nicktoons cartoon about three superheroes with the radical names of Z-Strap, Kewl Breeze, and Elastica, and who are based on Sketchers sneakers. A 30 minute sneaker commercial.

Absurdly Spacious Sewer: "Beneath the City".
Alliteration: Jason James and Matt Martin, AKA Z-Strap and Kewl Breeze
An Axe to Grind: Gram and plant monster.
An Ice Person: Kewl Breeze
Arson, Murder, and Jaywalking: Metal power! Ice power! ... Hair power?
Badass Grandma: Gram has this down in spades.
Big Bad Ensemble: Stankfoot and Ronson, with both opposing each other while Zevo-3 is caught in the middle.
Brother-Sister Team: Matt and Ellie. Oddly, they often refer to each other by their superhero handles when in costume.
- Hell, Ellie calls him by name (middle included) while in costume in the middle of hostile territory.
Comes Great Responsibility: The second episode has this in spades.
Continuity Nod: A recycling flyer Ellie made is briefly shown tumbling through the streets a few episodes later.
Cuteness Proximity: Jason in particular fell susceptible to this in 'Which Came First'.
Dating Catwoman: Jason kind of ends up doing this, although he doesn't realize until the end.
Deadpan Snarker: The (first) talking mutant in Sacrifice. Even when the group gets captured, his only reaction is 'Ah, they beefed up security'.

Freak Lab Accident: In addition to being the Zevo-3's origin, it was also what brought about many of their enemies.
Getting Crap Past the Radar: The gymnast boy who was such a sleaze. Just think about it...
- At least twice in 'Mutant Hotel'; during the latter fight, one of the Brutes' hands is in an unfortunate spot on Ellie's chest (these guys were coughing earlier when the first building was destroyed, so it's presumed they're at least partially organic); minutes later George Mengleson claims to be more lover and fighter, with his wife interjecting that even if he's only half that....
- On the violence side, in several episodes you see buildings getting ripped up, punctured, torn down, exploded, and melted. While no death toll is explicitly stated, there's no way they were all vacated in time...Plus people with weak immune systems (if it was really a virus) probably died during the virus episode.
- Blood in the Molocon episodes, plus Ellie's Hispanic friend.
  - Just before Jason cuts his finger on the Molocon action figure, he mimics a handsign from the story it's from; this handsign just happens to look like this.
- A LOT in "Delirium".
Goth: Angel Jones, Voiced by Pamela Adlon.
He Is Not My Boyfriend: 'Sacrifice', by name.
Hey, It's That Voice!: Zuko has ditched firebending for ice powers, and is still being bugged by Ozai; meanwhile Celty now has prehensile hair.
- Kevin Michael Richardson has a few characters, including Brett Ronson III, mayor of New Eden City.
- Grey DeLisle is showing up in a few places, mainly as Ellie's hispanic friend Cotilla, and more recently as the recurring paramedic Florence (who is also hispanic).
I Just Want to Be Special: To quote Matt/Kewl Breeze in the second episode:

What's the point of having superpowers if you can't use 'em?!

Intoxication Ensues: "Delirium", Jason eats mind-altering fruit. He spends most of the episode totally soused.
Large Ham: Stankfoot. Not the first hammy supervillain Mark Hamil's voiced.
Le Parkour: Z-Strap was able to do this on a skateboard before he even got his powers.
- 1) Thought Le Parkour was 'skateboarding without a board'. 2) He doesn't need a board, particularly prevalent in 'Sacrifice'. Although they call it free running.
Made of Phlebotinum: According to the official website, Dr Stankfoot's head henchwoman Dark Materia is a sentient collective of Zevo Energy.
Mad Scientist: Stankfoot
Meaningful Name: Doctor Stanley K. Foot
Merchandise-Driven: It's a show based on characters in commercials. Due to FCC regulations, the merchandise part isn't really focused on.
Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Matt is the reason that he and the others are superheroes, a crazed super villain with a penchant for super soldiers is on the loose, the mayor is trying to wipe said superheroes off the face of the Earth, and products of that scientist's mad dreams have destroyed a number of buildings and probably killed a lot of people. All because some boy genius fell for some Schmuck Bait.
Not Quite Flight: Elastika can use her hair like propellers.
Phlebotinum: The Zevo Compound, source of all mutations in the show.
Prehensile Hair: Elastika
Product Placement: In spades, most notably in the main characters' superhero identities.
- Perhaps in a moment of Laser-Guided Karma, the FCC is now investigating the show, as it apparently violates the guidelines on distinctions between children's advertising and children's programming.
Psycho Rangers: Ronson "sinks" to hiring a team of Zevo mutants in "Career Week", one of which turns out to be Jason's crush, and another of which looks very much like the Skechers Luminators mascot-character.
Ridiculously Cute Critters: The curples in "Which Came First?". They're purple, furry, and roughly the size of a human fist. They're also mind-controlled minions of Dr. Stankfoot.
- The mutant critters in a later episode borderline this and Ugly Cute.
Sassy Black Woman: Jason's Grams is AWESOME. Half the baddies, should they make their way onto her barge, will be immediately attacked by her. With an axe.
Secret Keeper: Z-Strap's grandma.
- Florence the paramedic seems to know at least that Ellie is Elastica.
The Starscream: Dark Matteria has intentions of getting rid of Stankfoot and controlling all she sees and she's not very quiet about it.
Teen Genius: Kewl-Breeze is somehow able to build complex gadgets

Three Amigos: The pink-haired super hero Ellie Martin, Aka Elastika has 2 best friends, The gossip-girl Cotilla Vasquez and the goth-girl Angel Jones.
