- One goes back to her hometown. She ends up blackmailed into writing mangas/doujins for her entire time there.
- The second goes to be with the man she loves. She gets in a duel, a shootout with the Mafia, and ends up dumped by her man.
- Number three goes to a festival. Her car ends up lost, with a flat tire, then she gets a ride with people who try kidnapping her. They fail.
- The last goes to see her family. She ends asleep right in the entrance hall, dressed in cosplay with grafiti drawn over her face. Then her place back gets hijacked.
In A Certain Magical Index, Touma wins a trip to Italy, so he takes Index. He and Index run into a plot by the Roman Orthodox Church to sail a fleet of ships to bomb Academy City.
When they don't go on a Busman's Holiday, this is what happens whenever the heroes from Sorcerer Hunters go anywhere, manga or anime. The cursed lake in the anime is a particularly good example.^[context?]
