Uta no Prince-sama

Uta no Prince-sama (うたの☆プリンスさまっ♪ Uta no☆Purinsu-sama♪, lit. "Song Prince") is an otome Visual Novel released by Broccoli on 2010 for the Play Station Portable. An anime adaptation by A-1 Pictures started airing on the Summer 2011 Anime season.

Ever since she first heard him sing, high school freshman Haruka Nanami has dreamt of writing a song for Hayato, a famous pop idol. To make her dream a reality, she enrolls into Saotome Academy, an elite private school designed to teach idol hopefuls and the composers that work with them the Ins and Outs of the business. While there, she gains the attention and friendship of a colorful cast of male idol hopefuls, including the cold and aloof Tokiya Ichinose, who claims to be the identical twin brother of Hayato.

Naive Newcomer: Unlike her classmates, Haruka knows next to nothing about the idol industry (due to living in the country and not having a TV) and doesn't recognize Shining Saotome and Ringo from their idol days.
Nice Hat: Shou usually has one.
Nonuniform Uniform: Shou wears a sweater instead of the blazer.
- Same with Masato, although unusually, in the game, he carries the school's blazer with him, implying he actually wears at least three layers throughout the day.
No Sense of Direction: Played for Laughs when the guys think that Haruka will get lost on her way to Hayato's concert.
The Quiet One: Masato and Tokiya.
Raised By Grandparents: Haruka was raised by her grandmother.
Shrinking Violet: Haruka.
Soap Opera Disease: Haruka claims to have had this when she was a child. Symptoms include fainting spells when stressed and maybe her oddly colored eyes.
Stepford Smiler: Tokiya seems to have elements of this in his persona Hayato, but is now trying to debut as himself, not someone who forces himself to smile in order to be accepted by others.
Testosterone Poisoning: Every movie Hyuga-sensei stars in, it seems.
Wholesome Crossdresser: Ringo.
