... for the same reason that your edit to Spiritual Successor was rejected two weeks ago -- they both ran afoul of the bug that strips white space, replaces wiki markup with (broken) HTML, and in general makes a mess of things. Again, we note that it is not at all necessary to turn properly coded pluralizations such as Impossibly Cool Weapons into overlong potholes like Impossibly Cool Weapons -- although if you are not doing that, we'd appreciate you letting us know so we can investigate what's causing it.

As before, we ask that you please try to make your edits again.

Your proposed edit to "Metroid" has been rejected in Moderation...

... because, instead of removing the mention that Metroid: Other M was the newest game in the franchise, you removed all of the description of Metroid: Other M. If we allowed that edit, we would just have to put the information back (other than the statement about it being the newest game in the franchise).

We have no problem with removing incorrect data, but we do have a problem with removing correct data.

You aren't in trouble. Everybody's allowed one mistake. And if you want to make another edit that removes only the statement that Other M is the newest game in the series, we'll let that through.

... not because you did anything particularly wrong (although we should note that markup like Canons and OVAs are valid and do not need to be "corrected"). Rather, we are rejecting your edit because it ran afoul of an infrequent bug that littered the page source with raw (and somewhat broken) HTML code instead of wiki markup, as well as stripping out white space that should remain in the source for readability.

If you could please resubmit your edit, we will gladly approve it (as long as the bug doesn't manifest again).
