These creatures are often monstrous in appearance and behavior and this idea generally has a strong element of Humans Are the Real Monsters. Compare with Not Even Human; in this case, they are worse because they are. Note, that there are occasional instances of uplifted humans who having experienced The Singularity are benevolent and god-like. |
