Tragic Silence: Shoujo Yugi is a single Hentai OVA produced by Five Ways and released on February 18th, 2003. A second OVA was planned but unfortunately was never released.

In it, a human falls in love with a vampire he was friends with since childhood, but when another vampire is murdered by his human lover, it threatens the peace between the two races.

Tropes used in Tragic Silence: Shoujo Yugi include:

• Aristocrats Are Evil: The higher ranking vampires are this. And they are mad at the villagers for Rick's death though they're mad at Rick for having sex with Elana rather than feasting upon her.
• Beta Couple: Levin and Siris. They elope at the end of the OVA.
  • Rick and Elana. Elana murders him when he tries to end the relationship. However, realizing the two were in love makes Luticia accept Shou's marriage proposal.
• Boy Meets Ghoul: All three pairings are between a human and a vampire. Rick tries to end his relationship with Elana to avoid hurting her because of his vampiric instincts and is murdered because of it while Levin and Siris elope at the end and Luticia accepts Shou's marriage proposal.
• Break Her Heart to Save Her: Rick tries to end his relationship with Elana because he fears he might feed on her.
• Childhood Friend Romance: Luticia and Shou knew each other since they were children. They get engaged at the end.
• Cliff Hanger: The OVA ends with a looming war between humans and vampires while Siris is declared a traitor for eloping with Levin. Because the second OVA was never released, it's never resolved.
• Even Evil Has Standards: Though the higher ranking vampires are mad at Rick for falling in love and having sex with Elana, they still seek vengeance for his death.
  • Until Rick's death, they were more than happy to let the villagers live in peace.
• Friendly Neighborhood Vampire: Rick, Siris, and Luticia are vampires that want to live peacefully with the humans they feed on. Rick is actually afraid of hurting Elana and ended his relationship with her. Levin was okay with Siris biting him but she resisted the urge.
• Hunk: Both Shou and Levin are muscular due to working at the blacksmith.

• Jerk With a Heart of Gold: Levin makes fun of Shou's love life but tries to give him advice and loves Siris dearly, even eloping with her.
• If I Can't Have You: Elena murders the vampire Rick when he tries to end his relationship with her.
• Ladykiller in Love: It's implied Levin had a number of girls in the past, but eventually fell for Siris, eloping with her.
• Making Love in All the Wrong Places: Levin and Siris had sex in a barn and Shou and Luticia had sex in the woods after she accepts his marriage proposal.
• Muscles Are Meaningful: Both Shou and Levin are muscular because it takes a lot of strength to perform blacksmithing like hammering and lifting heavy tools.
• My God, What Have I Done?: Elena after she murders Rick in a state of rage. She also probably realizes too late that Rick was trying to end the relationship to avoid the risk of caving in to his vampire instincts.
• Official Couple: Luticia and Shou. They have sex once engaged.
• Porn with Plot: The story of human and vampire lovers torn by a murder that threatens a war between the two races, with some sex thrown in.
• The Blacksmith: Shou and Levin are apprentices to the local Blacksmith. Shou even forged his own engagement ring for Luticia.
• Single Woman Seeks Good Man: Why the three vampires fell in love with the humans and vice versa.
• Single-Target Sexuality: Shou has only ever loved Luticia and is implied to have turned down Elana because of it. It's very likely both him and Luticia lost their virginities to each other.
• Unwitting Instigator of Doom: Elana's murder of Rick threatens to trigger a war between the humans and vampires.
• Vampires Are Sex Gods: Inverted with both Luticia and Siris. Both are pleasured by their human lovers. Played straight with Rick who pleasures Elana.
