Anthony David Leighton Scott (21 June 1944 – 19 August 2012), better known as Tony Scott, was an English film director and producer. He was known for directing action and thriller films like Top Gun and Enemy of the State. He was also the younger brother of Sir Ridley Scott.
Scott died by suicide on 19 August 2012, by jumping off the Vincent Thomas Bridge in San Pedro, California.
