The Unintentional Nudist Series

The Unintentional Nudist Series (first created by TrackJim, and later continued and expanded by Donnylaja and Katie Lynch) is an NSFW series of novellas following the (mis)adventures of college freshman Tami Smithers, the eponymous unintentional nudist.

Tami Smithers is a modest, All American, college freshman girl. She's a math major pulling all A's. She has a gymnastic scholarship, and a knockout figure to prove it. She has a loving boyfriend, and a roommate she gets along with really well, and she's completely naked 24/7. Barely a few days after moving into college in Vermont, she tried out for a sorority. The sorority sponsor, Wanda, proposed hazing in the form of a streaking dare. Tami accepted the dare, not knowing it would be the last time she would be fully dressed.

Tami unfortunately was caught by campus security while still naked (get used to that word) and brought to the Dean. Since the college is strictly conservative and religious, being caught naked is an expellable offense. Thinking fast, she says the first thing that comes to her mind: God called her to be naked; nudity is her religion. Well obviously, a religious campus can't expel someone for practicing their own religion, but if that's all there was to it, there'd be no story to tell. In short time, she is brought before the campus lawyer Henry Ross, and is coerced into signing an agreement. In short, it states that a) Tami's religion is against modesty, b) the college will respect Tami's religious practice, and c) that she must practice it 24/7 and any sign of modesty will be taken as a sign that she was in fact lying about her religion, and she will be promptly expelled. While that would be hard enough, Ross has been tasked with getting rid of her, and has planted spies all over, including Wanda. Together, they both take great glee in putting the naked girl through escalating humiliations in an effort to break her. Also, remember her gymnastics scholarship?

Tami knows she will shame her working-class family back in Rhode Island if she gets expelled. She turns out to be tougher than the Dean and Ross thought, as she survives humiliation after humiliation. Her friends think that her claim of religion is genuine and admire her for sticking with it; she is glad to be so widely loved but feels guilty about living a lie.

The stories follow Tami as she tries and fails to live a normal life as a naked college girl, and try to finagle a way back into a clothed life.

Tropes used in The Unintentional Nudist Series include:

Adorkable: Tami herself. She's a modest and reserved math nerd, and started out as very naive- your typical college girl who happens to be naked. There is also Tami's boyfriend, Rod, a young black upperclassman with an elegant shaved head, who wears glasses and sweatervests and is an engineering major.
And I Must Scream: Sort of. While Tami does have a mouth and is fully capable of screaming, she is forbidden from doing so.
Bigger Is Better in Bed: Mildly averted. Rod is only a little bigger than average but Tami, being so turned on to him, thinks he's huge.
Bi The Way: Tami get a boyfriend but she also has intimate encounters with her roommate Jen, and never seems unhappy about it. On the other hand, Tami only ever seems to date, or think about dating, guys.
Body Horror: In a strange way, this is the direction the story takes if you read the follow-up novel 'Tami Beethoven' and the companion 'Interview with the Professor'...
Break the Cutie: This is essentially what the longer sequel stories by Donnylaja run on: Tami is adorable and the reader grows to love her, while meanwhile the author puts her through all manner of nudity-related sadistic humiliations. Also in-universe this sums up Dean Jorgon and Henry Ross's plan; that Tami doesn't break is testament to her strength of character and the support of her friends.
Butt Monkey: Pun asside, this is another key aspect of Tami. While her situation is hellish enough for her, she often winds up in situations that expose her even more. This gets worse and worse as the series progresses. "Tami Smithers Was Here", which follows her as she tries to make it back from California to Vermont while failing again and again to find clothes (and while trying to hide from the police), is arguably the peak of it, while being one long series of butt-monkey-ness.
Casual Nudity: What the rest of the world thinks Tami is displaying. Internally, she is anything but casual about it.
Deconstruction: Can be seen as one for aspects of the Nude in Public fetish:

First and foremost, it shows how the world would really react to a naked college age girl. While there would be no shortage of admirers, it does expose the girl to the elements of the local climate, and consequences of the law- predictably, public indecency.
ENF (Embarrassed Nude Female): Most ENF works only explore the nudity of the character, and their adventures while trying to get back into clothes. This series really shows how negatively that embarrassment can affect someone so easily embarrassed, especially if they can't express their embarrassment. It also shows that while these adventures are happening, life goes on whether you are prepared for it or not.

Distracted by the Sexy: This happens a LOT, much to Tami's chagrin.

"Jen, listen to me! Stop looking at my TITS!"

Ethical Slut: Sort of. This is close to what Tami is pretending to be: a deeply moral person who nonetheless believes that she should live completely without shame (in Tami's case, mostly around her body), and this is how she is perceived by a lot of her friends and supporters. The key word is "pretending" however, so how Tami would feel about sex, love and relationships if she were not being forced to play this part remains to be seen.
Exposed to the Elements: No matter how cold it is or how much it's snowing, if Tami has to go outside, she has to do so naked. She tries to avoid it as much as she can though.
Friends with Benefits: Jen and Tami are this to each other.
Full-Frontal Assault: Everywhere she goes. Not that she gets a lot of complaints, mind you.
Good People Have Good Sex: Tami is the heroine and her boyfriend Rod is a very nice guy, and they have very good sex as often as they are able.
The Immodest Orgasm: Happens a lot to Tami, especially when she's submitting as a volunteer for the experiments of the Chalfont Institute.
Lust Object: How Tami is seen by quite a few people thanks to her going everywhere with no clothes on.
Naked Freak-Out: Averted. Due to Tami's cover story being that her religion forbids both clothing and modesty, she's constantly having to repress the urge to have one of these at each new encounter.
Naked First Impression: Tami makes one of these on everyone she meets once she starts going naked. Averted, however, in that most never get to see her again with her clothes on; just more nudity.
Naked People Are Funny: Tami's nudity is mostly played for fanservice rather than overt comedy, however it should be clear from the premise that this is certainly not a serious story. Averted in-story, as rather than laughing at Tami most people see her determination to stick to her "beliefs" as admirable and she becomes something of a hero on-campus
No Periods, Period: Averted. It's made clear that Tami has to be naked even when she is on her period, and has to go out in public with the string of her tampon clearly visible between her legs.
Nudism: It's there in the title. Tami claims to be a nudist, for religious reasons, rather than admit she was streaking. However she is far more extreme than anyone would expect her to be, going naked everywhere, in all weathers, no matter who can see her. And it's all an act.
Please Put Some Clothes On: Not as much as you would think, as most of the people Tami encounters have been briefed that she's the college's religious nudist and so think asking her to get dressed is at best futile and at worst offensive to her beliefs. However occasionally someone will ask Tami to cover up and either she will have to resist the urge to comply (as it would show modesty, which she is claiming she does not feel) or another character will step in and helpfully explain that Tami has to be allowed to be naked.
Questionable Consent: It's important to note that from everyone else's perspective Tami is actively and rationally consenting to everything that happens to her. Of course, in reality she's only consenting because she thinks if she doesn't, the college administration will know she lied about having a religion that forbids clothing and modesty, and expel her.
Reality Ensues: A big theme of the series is taking the Naked in Public fetish and exploring how people would actually respond to someone like Tami. In particular, the college administration is highly skeptical of Tami's claim to be a religious nudist and much of the humiliation they put her through is intended to provoke her into admitting that she has made up the whole thing, as they can't expel her while she's claiming a protected belief (although they don't all realize she's just lying to cover up her part in a simple streaking prank; some think she's just a depraved exhibitionist).
Reluctant Fanservice Girl: Very much so. It is made abundantly clear that she hates every second of her prolonged nudity.
Shameless Fanservice Girl: What she has to pretend that she is. How well she does this usually depends on how abreast someone is of Tami's situation.
So Proud of You: As the series goes on, Tami wins more and more admirers among her friends and the faculty for her dogged determination to stick to her "beliefs" and continue to go unclothed at all times. At times when she's close to giving in, she sometimes thinks about how disappointed they would be to learn she faked the whole religious nudist angle and this gives her the resolve she needs to continue.
Streaking: The reason Tami is naked in the first place; a sorority hazing ritual that she gets caught participating in. Her college takes a hard line on supposed moral lapses so all she can do to escape expulsion is claim she's practicing her religion.
You Must Be Cold: All the time. Tami's story takes place in New England, following her through the winter months. She has trekked many times in waist deep snow-still naked (though the series is careful to place her tolerance to cold within realistic limits; a person who has gotten used to the cold can indeed dash naked through the snow for short periods). Wanda also invokes this, both as an effort to break Tami's resolve and to satisfy her sadism (mostly the last one though). To add insult to injury, Wanda mocks Tami by showing how warm she is in Tami's old coat and boots and gloves.
