There's a really good reason for this; due to differing language structures, perfectly respectable Japanese lyrics are nonsensical in English. Rather than overhaul the lyrics in the song as is normally done with spoken dialogue, the song is played in the original language to avoid dialogue failure of Zero Wing proportions. |
