  • Non Sequitur Scene: EVERYTHING with Joey. As The Agony Booth video reviewer The Fear Fan points out, if you cut out his scenes you wouldn't impact the movie at all.
  • Title Confusion / Misblamed: Legend has it that this film was included on the Video Nasties list due to confusion with Last House on Dead End Street, a far more violent and disturbing film that was also released on video as The Funhouse.
  • Les Yay: The girls are really interested to peek the strip show.
    • Upped by a factor in the novelization (written by Dean Koontz under the name Owen West) during an additional scene where the two girls discuss possibly taking their dates home for what sounds like a sort of foursome but which, it is implied, would really come down to the two girls...enjoying themselves with each other. There's even a breast grope mentioned.
  • What an Idiot!: Richie.
