We really need that big warning at the middle of the opening text?

Look, I'm the last person to be dismissive of spoilers, but I'm also don't like people who are overzealous of them. I don't see an warning of Resident Evil 2 saying "spoilers for Resident Evil 1" right at the middle of the page in big fat black letters. Could we just say in the opening line it spoils the previous game?

It's a habit I picked up from the old country to leave a clear warning about previous instalments being spoilers off. The idea is to forestall any complaints about getting spoilt by viewers fool enough to go into a page for a sequel without knowing what happened previously, especially when said spoilers play a key role in the plot. I don't think it's something to worry about, but you're welcome to raise it with the rest of the people here if you think it's something that needs to be worked out at site policy level.
