I like this trope - heck, I wrote a short story around this trope before I ever heard of All The Tropes - but I can't ask whether it's launchable when two of the tropes need context.
Whoever added the examples to Fan Works and Western Animation, please add a bit more to them.
Anyone have any name suggestions to improve on this? I just came up with Different Lies To Root Out The Spy
What is told doesn't need to be lies, either - see the example that I just added to Real Life.
Hmmmmm... "Tell Everyone Different Things to Find the Spy" is just as clunky as the current name.
