I've added the categories for a comic book, and this is how it's referred to on all the pages that link here, but honestly, it seems like it's more a Web Original. What do other people think?

Hmmmmm... tricky. It started as a book, but it wasn't published as a book - it was published online-only. Mind you, we don't say Kindle-only novels are Web Original - we say they're Literature.
I'd go with intention here: Did the work's creator intend to make a comic book or a web comic?
The person in 6th grade made a comic book, the adult published it online. I say Comic Book or both.
