It was listed on the No Real Life Examples, Please page that we inherited from TV Tropes. (No link because Derivative and I are working on replacing that page with a category.) However, the page itself doesn't have the matching category, or a reason why it specifically shouldn't have Real Life examples.
This Troper, speaking without his moderator hat on, thinks that the request for no real life examples is just an example of TVT control-freakery - it appears to me that somebody didn't like the idea and thus banned it altogether. ATT doesn't work that way.
It isn't as if these songs don't exist, or don't get airplay - quite the opposite, in fact.
So... Real Life examples of Bawdy Songs: yes or no? And why?
