Tachibanakan To Lie Angle

Everything About Fiction You Never Wanted to Know.

A 2015 manga created by Merryhachi, serialized on Ichijinsha's Comic Yuri Hime. .

Natsuno Hanabi went back to her hometown to study in high school. She is going to live in a dormitory called Tachibana, where lives Marshamallow Hell-inducing Yoriko and female pervert Yuu. She also meets her childhood friend Konomi, that seems to be very angry at Yuu for having forgot about their childhood friendship, and a stoic, beautiful girl called Iori. Iori seems to have a very non-platonic interest towards Hanabi, and Konomi immediately puts herself in the way. And so, our lesbian love story begins.

Tropes used in Tachibanakan To Lie Angle include:
  • Accidental Pervert: Hanabi isn't very different from any other ecchi protagonist in that regard, having a horrible tendency to fall in weird positions that look sexual.
  • Fanservice: As far as the eye can see, increased by the fact that all the cast is female. By example, the first time we see Iori, she is naked.
  • Going Commando: The first time Hanabi sees Yuu, the blonde is wearing no panties.
  • Innocent Fanservice Girl: When asked why she was naked in public, Iori says she was just cooling herself off after a bath.
  • Marshmallow Hell: Yoriko has a tendency to put Hanabi into one of these when hugging her.
  • Pervert Revenge Mode: Though Konomi has her own reasons to get easily triggered into rage by Hanabi's sheer presence, she also attacks her every time she thinks she is acting perverted.
  • Potty Emergency: The entire plot of Episode 4 involves Konomi trying to get to the bathroom, any bathroom, and failing for several reasons.
  • Scenery Censor:
    • A rubber duck hides Konomi's genitals in a bath scene in Episode 2 of the anime.
    • Later in the same episode, curtains obscure Iori's nipples while she is naked in the middle of a room.
  • Shipper on Deck: Yuu practically throws Iori in Hanabi's arms the first time the three are on the same room together.
  • Tsundere: Konomi shows a deep resentment towards Hanabi but that resentment itself comes from the fact they had a strong friendship as kids. And she also don't likes the idea of Iori and Hanabi becoming lovers...
  • Who Wears Short Shorts?: Yoriko, in the ending of the anime at least.
