Sukisho
Sukisho (also sometimes spelled Sukisyo, its formal title being Suki na Mono wa Suki Dakara Shôganai!! or "I like what I like, so there!") is a Boys Love Light Novel on which a 12-episode Anime series and Boys Love Game are based.
The story of Sukisho focuses on high school students Hashiba Sora, who lost his entire memory when he fell out of a 4th story window, and Fujimori Sunao, who just transferred to the same school after having disappeared for years. After being released from the hospital, Sora meets Ran, Sunao's second personality. Though Ran seems to despise Sora, he claims that Sora also shares his body with a second person, Yoru, who happens to be Ran's boyfriend. Unfortunately, Yoru and Ran tend to come out mostly when Sora and Sunao are asleep and tend to make the most of the limited time they have together. Hilarity and insanity ensue.
Though Sukisho has a definite BL theme, it also has many aspects of a mystery show, solving the secret of Sora and Sunao's Dark and Troubled Past. As the show continues, more evidence is uncovered that Sora's fall was no accident, Yoru and Ran are not what they seem to be, as well as some darker themes from when they were childhood friends. And then there's another party hiding in the shadows...
Note that while the anime is light and fluffy - the game is much, much darker, and viewer discretion is advised. Also bring a tissue if you're going to play it all the way through.
The anime is a highly severe case of Cast Full of Pretty Boys, with no female characters appearing on screen at all. The part of The Chick is taken by Wholesome Crossdresser Nanami, who is feminine to an extreme, and seems to be Happily Married with Shinichirou.
- Abandoned Hospital: The place in Sora's nighmares looks like that. And Sora and Sunao seem to wake up in one after being abducted.

- All Girls Want Bad Boys: Yoru uses this as an excuse for what seems like attempted rape.

- Cast Full of Pretty Boys: There are no women in the entire show! This gets slightly creepy if you think about it. Even the kids all seem to be parentless, raised informally by whoever wants to take care of them. Did something happen to the women?
- There is one girl during a one second scenery shot of the park during the valentines episode.
- Playing "Spot the Girl" in Sukisho is nearly impossible. You can never tell whether they're girls or just really feminine guys.
- However, in one of the games their school ceases to be an all-boys school. The game is also less "fluffly" and has a better plot than the anime.

- The Chessmaster: Matsuri is quite good at this.

- Disproportionate Retribution: Sunao's revenge seems quite over the top, making plans of outright murder, just because his childhood friend let go of his hand in a life-or-death situation. However, in the games the revenge doesn't seem so drastic, because Sora instead killed both of their parents.
- Downer Ending: The canon ending of the third game ends with Sunao and Shinichirou, who had been stabbed by Sora and Sunao, being taken away by Aizawa as Shinichirou and Nanami's apartment is completely destroyed.
