Stephen Hawking/Awesome

Everything About Fiction You Never Wanted to Know.

  • Possibly the greatest mind we've ever seen, which would be an accomplishment for someone who could walk and talk.
  • Repeat offender on Futurama, and always worth the screen time.
  • He once had a poker game with Isaac Newton, Albert Einstein and Data and cleaned them all out.
    • Not to mention put Issac in his place with the apple story.
    • Which rolled over into a Crowning Moment of Funny the next time he ran into Brent Spiner. The first words out of his voice box, "Where's my money."
  • Maintaining his sense of humor, his mental sharpness, even just his sanity when trapped in an immobile body for years and years has to be a CMOA. As GQ's The Rules once said "It should be Stephen Hawking's and Lou Gherig's Disease."
  • Just the way he said "If you are looking for trouble, you found it" on The Simpsons. Any voice box could say the same, but when it's said by him shows he has steel in his guts than he does in his chair. It was even more awesome when he used the Boxing Glove feature to punch Skinner when he called his bluff.
  • One American politician opposed to the health care reform bill in 2008 tried claiming how bad the "socialist" healthcare of places like England was by saying that someone like Stephan Hawking would have been left to die if not for him being famous. The next day Stephen put him in his place by defending the English healthcare system and reminding him that his health started deteriorating long before he became famous.
