Shazam! is a 2019 superhero comedy film in the DC Extended Universe, directed by David F. Sandberg and starring Zachery Levi and Asher Angel as Billy Batson/Shazam. It is based on the DC character of the same name.

Taking place during Christmas time at Philadelphia, Billy Batson encounters a wizard who gets to say his name that transforms him into an adult. The film was financially and critically successful, with praise to the plot, humor and cast. It is set to have a spin-off Black Adam in 2022 and a sequel Fury of the Gods in 2023.
